Dr. Yona Baguma

CHAIRPERSON OF THE BOARD

Dr. Yona Baguma, the appointed Chairperson RIPA Board of Directors, is the Director General (DG) of NARO. As a leader in agricultural research, he has represented NARO and helped initiate innovative transformative approaches to agricultural research for impact.

Dr. Yona has supported several community development initiatives and therefore brings vast experience to oversee the Rural Initiatives for Poverty Alleviation achieve its mission

Mr. Vincent Bamugaya Tumusiime

EXECUTIVE VICE CHAIRPERSON

Vincent Bamugaya Tumusiime is the Founder and Director of Rural Initiatives for Poverty Alleviation (RIPA). Vincent is an accomplished Banker turned Public Policy Management Expert with a Banking experience spanning 15 years and 10 years of Public Policy Management, currently working as a Director, Directorate of Socio-Economic Monitoring and Research in the Office of the President of the Republic of Uganda.
